The dinner and breakfast offered were exceptional with a wide variety of Japanese delicacies. The staff was friendly and accommodating and provided free pick-ups from the station. The hotel has a beautiful Japanese-style garden which just exudes serenity.
The English-speaking skills of the staff were only moderate and this caused some minor communication issues. There weren't many nearby restaurants, so eating in the hotel or heading to the station area was the only feasible option.

The staff, friendly, helpful. Wifi on 1st floor. Beautiful garden, massage machine, comfortable sofa. Useful hiking info. Free tickets for onsen. Nearby 7-11 and delicious bento. Great onsen experience.
Couldn't fault - exceptional stay.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering a free shuttle service to the train station. The location on the outskirts of town provided a peaceful retreat in the mountains. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, including a choice of indoor and outdoor onsens. Breakfast was delicious and featured both traditional Japanese and Western-style options.
Nothing bad to say! This hotel provided an exceptional experience and we cannot wait to return.

This place is located on the outskirts of town, surrounded by the beautiful mountains in the Tohoku area. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the proximity to the onsen temple. The shuttle service provided by this hotel made it easy for us to explore the area without any hassle. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were equipped with all the necessary amenities, including heating and air conditioning, and we were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort.
Highly recommended to all.

This hotel is in a calm location on the outskirts of a small town in the mountainous Tohoku area, but is close to the train station. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains from the window, while the onsen and two massage machines in the comfortable lounge area are enjoyable amenities.
Some guests have faced issues, such as limited Wi-Fi access only available on the first floor, and the metal room doors feeling like a prison cell.

Spending the new year at this ryokan was an unforgettable experience. We loved the traditional Japanese dinner, with its many tasty courses. The staff was very friendly and always eager to help. The location was perfect, in a peaceful and serene onsen town. We also enjoyed the shuttle service to and from the train station.
The room was cozy and traditionally styled, but some amenities felt outdated and could use an update. , the language barrier could be a challenge as some staff members didn't speak English.
